Owing much in mood to the timeless qualities found in the music of Nick Drake, acoustic John Martyn, and Pentangle -- Lahri Bond Dirty Linen Magazine:
Since their 2013 debut as a trio at the Katharine Hepburn Theater the Ebin-Rose Trio with the inclusion of Bobo Lavorgna on upright bass have brought their music into a more free form unit. 2014 saw the release of two CD's "Bare Wires" and "Live From The Buttonwood Tree" both recorded by Michael Arafeh of The Coffeehouse Studio in Middletown CT. The trio is now back in The Coffeehouse recording “The Pottery Sessions.” The song provided for this compilation, “Pottery” is title song from the forthcoming EP, with a release date of March 2015.
lyrics
POTTERY
It’s a crazy kind of rhythm, this rise and rush and go
You could spend your lifetime dreaming and still may never know
How the wheel turns
How the wheel turns
Laughing down the hillside, lost among the trees
If the spirits truly love us, why do they keep us on our knees
How the wheel turns
How the wheel turns
Constant as the stars that shine the path across the sea
Everything else changing, it’s an endless mystery
How the wheel turns
How the wheel turns
